I recently had the misfortune of having to lube my chain after a few very wet rides and over-extending my hot waxing interval. It was not a pleasant experience, though under the circumstance I was also forced to use a poor lube. MucOff Dry, the only good characteristic of which is the scent. A quick video below of my experience, which I don't hope to repeat.
